How AMOS Works | Australian-Managed Offshore Staffing
AMOS gives Australian businesses a structured way to build reliable remote support without navigating offshore recruitment alone.
From understanding the role and screening suitable professionals to onboarding, integration and ongoing support, AMOS helps you build remote capability with clearer processes, Australian-based support and greater confidence in who joins your business.
How the AMOS Process Works
From your first conversation through to integration and ongoing support, AMOS follows a clear seven-step process designed to reduce hiring guesswork, move quickly where suitable talent is already available, and give you control over who joins your team.
1. Tell Us What You Need
Tell us about your business, the tasks you need supported, the skills required, preferred working hours and what success looks like in the role.
2. Discovery & Role Planning
We clarify the role, responsibilities, systems, working arrangements and priorities so we know exactly what type of remote professional will fit your business.
3. Candidate Matching, Sourcing & Screening
AMOS first looks for suitable professionals within our existing talent network.
Where an appropriately vetted and available professional is already matched to your requirements, we can move directly to shortlist and selection. If the right fit is not already available, AMOS can source and assess additional candidates specifically for your role.
4. Review & Select Your Shortlist
You review suitable candidates, meet the people you are interested in and make the final decision on who joins your team.
5. Onboarding & Two-Week Integration Trial
Once you select your preferred professional, AMOS supports the onboarding and integration process so expectations, communication, systems and workflows are established from the beginning.
For suitable roles where a vetted professional is already available, a remote professional may be ready to commence in as little as one week, subject to availability, client selection, required checks and onboarding requirements.
6. Fit & Performance Review
AMOS reviews the engagement with you, identifies any early issues and helps refine expectations, communication, workflows or support where required.
7. Ongoing Support Begins
Once the fit is confirmed, AMOS remains involved with ongoing communication, performance oversight, escalation support and continuity assistance throughout eligible managed engagements.

The Real Cost Difference
Before you add another full-time salary to your payroll, look at what that hire can really cost your business.
An Australian employee on an $80,000 salary costs at least $89,600 once 12% super is added — before recruitment, equipment, office space, software and other employment overheads.
AMOS remote professionals range from $8 to $20 per hour, all-inclusive, depending on the role, skills and experience required.
At 38 hours per week, that equates to approximately $15,808 to $39,520 per year.
Compared with the $80,000 salary-plus-super example, that represents a potential difference of approximately:
$50,080 to $73,792 PER YEAR
And that is before factoring in other potential costs associated with employing locally.
Your AMOS rate includes more than the person doing the work. It can include:
Candidate matching and screening
Recruitment support
Structured onboarding
Australian-managed support
Performance oversight
Communication and escalation support
Replacement support for eligible managed engagements
Ongoing service support
One clear hourly rate. No percentage-of-salary recruitment fee. No separate management fee.
For many Australian businesses, AMOS service fees may also be tax-deductible as a business expense where incurred in earning business income. Your accountant can confirm the treatment for your individual circumstances.
